In September 2015, Alexandra, Jeremy and their hounds Rosey and Ramble moved into a 30' NeXus Viper - permanently. This blog will share the stories of their travels and adventures as they travel the country, exploring State and National Parks, devouring local treats and reconnecting with friends and family along the way.
Alexandra is a Third Culture Kid at her core. She was born in France but spent a majority of her pre-college years living in Southeast Asia - 4 years in the Philippines and 6 in Hong Kong. She's a former baker (whoopie pies + cookie sandwiches were the name of her game), teacher (where her most prominent memory of her 5th grade students is of the one who gave her chicken pox for the first time) and professional volunteer. She's a sucker for all animals, particularly otters, goats + any breed of canine.
Jeremy is a native of Southern Illinois, and has spent the last 19 years in Nashvegas coaching and facilitating in the world of leadership development. He enjoys spending time with family, exploring new technologies, watching improvisational theater, and other miscellaneous geekery. Jeremy grew up in the cabover bunk in his grandparents’ Winnebago, and he is very excited to carry on that traveling tradition with Alexandra, Rosey and Ramble.
Rosey and Ramble are the spoiled canine counterparts to Alexandra and Jeremy. Rosey is a 15-ish year old Chow/Husky rescue who lets her 30 lb Boston Terrier mix (we think) brother Ramble boss her around. See? Even in photos, he's always stealing the show.
